Yeah, my boa is fascinated by my phone. She’s even ended up snapping a few “self portraits” by hitting the capture button with her nose while her body is still in frame. :joy:

I guess Galahad was going for… cloak? A cape? The snakey version of sweater weather? Dunno exactly, but this is how I found him when I lifted his hide. He had split and flattened out the shed skin and was lying on a lot of it, except for the bit he had wrapped about him.

Maybe he was feeling a little exposed?

Awwww. Poor Galahad! Maybe he needs a blankey! :face_with_monocle:

Haha maybe, not entirely sure. I know that I’ve personally been enjoying finally having evenings cool enough to snuggle under a light throw.
Whatever he’d done, it looked very intentional.

He needs a nice winter blanket! And since you refuse to provide one, he made his own!

I suppose that he just did the best he could, given that he would have really had some major difficulties if he’d tried to crochet!

Would that make him a “knit wit?” :joy::joy::joy::joy:

The last photo is just seconds before he jumped onto my face

Being home for Thanksgiving meant some animal work, of course.
Gak got his tank redecorated and new fresh paper towels…which he immediately knocked his plants over onto, soaking all of the new bedding…and then I swear he was mocking me from his tube

Kirby needed to be in a quarentine tank for one day since his new batch of dirt came with soil mites that got out of control. He quickly let me know he didn’t approve by throwing a tantrum, ripping up (and eating???) the paper towels, and dumping food and water everywhere. You can see him here after he flipped himself in rage (good view of his creepy little booty legs that they hold onto the shell with)

What a little drama queen!

My house is so full of sass it’s insane. The dog starts screaming if no one looks at her enough, the lizard knocks over his plants, and the hermit crab throws actual fits and then PINCHES YOU for rescuing him :joy:

:joy:. Sounds like you live in the Little House of Horrors! :joy:

Those pictures are simply precious! Kudos to you for taking such good care of Kirby! I have never had good luck with hermit crabs or Pac Man frogs.

I have plants in Lemon Peel’s tank as well and so far she? I think, has not knocked any of them over.

I won’t be getting any more hermit crabs in my lifetime (my original gang was adopted from a middle school classroom). So much effort to barely even scratch the surface of their needs and wild behaviors.
But they are such charming little guys, so much personality! I will say he has gotten big enough to pinch and draw blood and I think he is aware of that, the little devil :joy:

Someone let all his bugs out and gave me the glare like its my fault!

Literally laughing out loud at your descriptions of your House of Sass! Wonderful pics, wonderful words. Thanks for the smiles.

Aster embarrassed that I dare to try to take an aesthetic picture, lol!! He’s a shy boy~

And my fussy boy, Atlas, happily exploring his new penthouse, lol!! I’m so relieved to finally have this enclosure for him, I truly hope he thrives in it much more than in the glass terrarium he was in. I’m extremely hopeful he’ll gain back all the weight he’s lost through his hunger strikes; it was truly a joy to me to see him exploring his new enclosure.
