[Solved] Now Clutch Tracking Thread!

I figured it was just the camera angle, but I thought I’d mention it just in case. Nothing expensive for the anti-fungal powder. Wal-mart brand, Target brand, generic, etc. is just fine.

Could the issue possibly be the humidity gauge you’re using? The eggs look great!

That I’m not sure, I’ll grab a second one of a different brand and see if/what the difference is.

Haven’t had the chance to grab a second humidty gauge yet, but update!

Day 28 with candling pics!

Most of them look like they have big strong veins that reach out across the eggs, there’s two in there with veins that look kind of wonky.
Hoping they’re just slow growers and at most might need an extra few days.

They all look good to me!

My clutch of 7 look about like that at this point (day 35 so just a bit ahead), did you see any movement while candling them?

When I candled mine last night the babies inside where moving around like crazy.

That’s so cool!
No, I didn’t notice any movement but I’ll candle them again next week to check progress- it would be super cool to see them move!

We have movement!
Candled all eight today for day 36 and was able to capture movement from all of them!
Just posting one video to not bog down the thread though-

The eggs now have the slightest give to them that they didn’t have previously.
Other than that, nothing to report- temps and humidty remain steady!

Egg update: Day 50!
The shells have a lot more give to them now, some a bit more “deflated” than the others.

I’ve got my fingers crossed that babies will be hatched out before I leave for my work trip on the 15th or wait until I return that Friday :joy:
Thankfully it will only be for five days and I have a trusted person swinging by that wednesday anyways so we should be fine even if they don’t!

Yesssss!! Hopefully you’ll see a little head poking out soon!
What was the pairing and what are you hoping to hit? :eyes:

0.1 Russo Lesser x 1.0 Banana Mystic Pastel.

I’m hoping to score some BELs or Invisi-Balls but as long as they are all healthy I’ll be happy

Next day update:
A second egg pipped this morning, so I went ahead and cut the rest.
Some were a little more difficult to get a response out of than others, but ultimately everyone is doing great!

I fly out monday and my original plan of having someone swing by midweek to check on them/allow for oxygen exchange has changed a bit.
I plan on setting them up in a tub in my adult rack with a very deep layer of coco husk to keep up the high humidity, give them a water bowl and a few hides for when they eventually come out of the eggs on their own.
Not the most ideal, compared to leaving them in the incubator until they come out of them eggs and then placing them on a wet paper towel butttt I don’t think a paper towel will be able to keep the eggs/babies moist enough for four and a half days.
So I’m improvising since nature has no regard for work trip schedules :joy:

Fingers crossed that the twins will take to food quickly, I’m a little nervous about having them in my first clutch.

Very best of luck to you!:pray:

Back from my work trip, so I’ve set up the babies in bins until their first shed.

Impatiently waiting for their first sheds, I don’t want to bother them too much until then :weary:

There’s one in particular I want to get a closer look at, because either they’re a really poor quality bamboo or they’re a mojave combo with a trait that must be hiding in one of the parents.
