Terracotta and String of Pearls

Hello! Are terracotta pots safe to put in reptile enclosures? Specifically my cresties naturalistic enclosure? I was thinking I could lay it on its side and kind of bury it in dirt as a hide! They’re just the normal unpainted terracotta pots from Walmart.

And also, what about string of pearls? Safe for a reptile enclosure or no?

Terracotta pots should be fine. I’ve used some with my tarantulas, I don’t see any issue with using them with reptiles.

I’m less sure about the pearls. Real pearls would be fine, but I’d be concerned about any chemicals and paint that might be on fake pearls. I’d also be concerned about the string itself potentially molding, though if it was nylon line, that wouldn’t be an issue. So I think with the pearls, it just depends on what the actual materials are.
