Tristripe Identifcation

Hi! I gave a shot at facebook, but i also fogured I’d extend my question out to this platform as well.

I bred a Mojave het Tristripe to an Albino het Tristripe. I got a beautiful confirmed tristripe het albino, but I have two mojave that I can’t decide if it’s het or very low expression tristripe. (Sorry, ive only taken professional photos of the 1 mojave, but i figured if i can get help with her it’ll help me solve the second one.)

Looking at other Mojave Tri-Stripes on MM and comparing I’d say these are low expression Tri-Stripes.

The Het Tri-Stripe Mojaves on MM do not display the “Tri-Stripe” patterning.

Yeah, i was leaning this way, but it caused quite the discussion on facebook. The mother has no indication of tristripe, she looks as a normal mojave should.

I’ve heard it can be like monsoon (pied sometimes too) though, and the het can be visual.

Concur with Christina, both of these are visual TS

I firmly believe TS is an incomplete-dominant mutation, I sent all of my TS gene animals to a buddy who has been heavily working the project and between us we are 100% on picking hets from 66% and 50% poss hets that he has produced and also purchased. The phenotype can be subtle at times but it is there
