So, supposedly UVB doesn’t transmit through both glass and mesh. How do you install uvb light to remedy that?

It does go through mesh, but it is partly blocked. How much it is blocked depends on the type of mesh, i believe Zoomed mesh blocks around 35%, so you have to take that into account when picking out your bulb. I’d recommend joining the Reptile Lighting facebook group if possible, as they have actual readings available in there. Ball pythons are ferguson zone 2.
