Washing reusable pads

Our washing machine locks so it can’t be stopped correctly

Yeah, mine is a Maytag from the 80s with one of those old-school dials you turn and pull to start the cycle. You can push the dial to stop the cycle at any point. And it doesn’t lock, so if I realize I forgot a sock, I can just open the washer and throw it in mid cycle.

I’m dreading the day it finally dies and I have to get one of those newfangled demon spawn washers that has all kinds of opinions on how you can and cannot wash clothes. :weary::joy:

You 80’s Maytag was built a ton better than the pricy stuff today so hang on to your old machine for as long as you can. We have a much newer version but we bought the very simplest version we could (Whirlpool), but the stinkin lid STILL LOCKS! :joy:

I use the disposable pee pads and I like them alot. Been using them for over a year now with out any issues with my boas. I buy them cheap from Amazon in bulk.
