A nice way to end Mothers Day

Well I thought Aphrodite was going to lay earlier in the week but she held onto her eggs just in time for Mothers Day [20260510_203457] [20260510_204129] I’m 60% sure one of them is infertile, its an off color and oddly shaped. But when I candled it did have a pink dot inside, so I’m going by the incubate until there’s no debate method for it (its the top one in the 2nd photo). Just got back from a day trip to the HMNS to this little surprise! This one was due on the 10th of this month but I guess the little one wanted to bake a little bit longer

Either way they look really healthy! I’ve got them set up in a temporary box to settle in. Too bad that this one is the sole baby for now but I will definitely be doing updates as they grow!

1 week update!

Little one is going strong and has gained 0.2 grams (now 2.2 grams) I’m not used to monitoring the weight of an animal that weighs so little!

And the little black spattering along his dorsal stripe I shared here Freshly Shed Thread! - #393 by cmsreptiles is still there and getting darker
