I got my crested gecko on Wednesday and I was wondering what morphs people thought he had, the breeder said Dalmatian and Dark phantom but I think I might see tiger??
Can you get better pics? It is pretty hard to tell currently. If you can get some outside pics then that would help. A well lit place could also work and try getting one of each side and a couple full body shots
I’m not home right now but I will later
Thank you!
Dark phantom tiger dal.
And portholes
I also got him for $150 which I think is a good price
Dark phantom dalmatian partial pinstripe - wouldn’t consider him a tiger morph-wise; all geckos have the tiger trait as it is fixed, so it depends on how it shows, and tigers have stripes that go from the dorsal and down the laterals which he doesn’t have due to the pinning
Yeah I don’t write them down as when you list up say that’s just a trait you tag.
You wouldn’t say dark phantom tiger Dalmatian portholes.
Portholes, the knee caps, fringing etc is just traits to add on x
Wouldn’t say partial pin, with phantoms you don’t as same colour as body.
And defo tiger, i have a couple dark phantom tigers myself.
Seems like a fair price to me
The pinstripe gene is still there and showing, the phantom is just surpressing the white - important if you’re breeding imo With tiger it’s different since it’s fixed, visual tigering and tiger-morph is different. But fair, everyone focusses on different things
After chatting ages ago to LMR and AC I know pinstripe just isn’t mentioned.
I was actually corrected when calling mine phantom pinstripes years back.
There are SOME phantoms I’ve noticed that do actually have pinning though, usually a lighter colouration, seen it more with yellow/orange.
But defo tiger there, you can see the markings.
I prefer it in phantoms too, as some look spotty.
My toothless is similar! But clean and no dalmation x
What do you mean by clean?
Clean as in no dal spots x
That makes sense
Like i said totally fair - i like to mention what i see if others don’t then that is up to them
