Congratulations @westridge on getting that perfect pair! I looked at the photos before I read what you wrote and I should really have my reading glasses on because I was wondering if the eyes were just positioned further back inside the head, where typical snakesā€™ eyes are. THEN I read your post, and zoomed in on the first photo and it kind of startled me because they are the same color as the head lol. What a really unique set of gorgeous snakes!

Well Iā€™m getting the ā€œitchā€ to add a specific morph to the family because since you guys are getting more creatures I feel FOMO. Fingers crossed that my husband is in a good mood tomorrow at the reptile show. My daughter then turns on the ā€œdaddy you love me so much right? Because my birthday is coming up and if you buy me this snake it can be my birthday presentā€! It almost always works. Thatā€™s why we have 4 dogs lol

I very much enjoyed the show but Iā€™m kind of proud of myself for resisting making impulse buys because that is the story of my life. I was tempted to buy a hognose but was able to walk away because I know their care is different than my ball pythons so it wasnā€™t in my best interest nor was it what I was in search of.

There are 2 more expos in October Iā€™d like to attend so I am cautiously optimistic I will find what Iā€™m looking for.
