Somehow I’m scared of spiders but Paula is very endearing. I think she has a disapproving facial expression (probably because I’m scared of her cuteness). I made a little childish edit to what I saw when I looked at her pic for the first time. It’s purely good intentions, lighthearted silliness from me. I’m having a bad day and she made me smile. Note eyebrows, eyes, frowny face resting on her elbows. Love her.

This is what I see when I see spiders too. I am petrified of spiders, despite the fact that they can be quite cute. I think it’s the fact that they look as though they are always starting at me!

Aww thank you @caron ! She is a Leopard Mahogany Mojave and a very sweet girl! I got her from a great breeder on MM in January. When it was nice outside I would occasionally bring her with me on my walk to my daughter’s bus stop and the kids loved her. Even had someone walking on their way to get a haircut ask to hold her 
As for trying to pick a new snake to add to our family, the search has been unsuccessful. I’ve had just an avalanche of bad luck in the last 2 weeks and I’m really hoping to find him or her either this weekend at the Four State Expo here in MD this weekend or in Hamburg on December 2nd. So- bad juju be gone!

Heres the newest member of my reptile family, Ripper the blood python! I’ve wanted one of these guys for years now and I finally decided to bite the bullet and grab this guy while I was at Repticon the other weekend. He just shed and already got himself dirty, plus he’s got that typical blood python attitude, so I can already tell that he’s going to be a handful.
