Which repticon were you at? I was at Tampa last weekend
The one in Columbia, South Carolina.
Beautiful python. I will be at Repticon in Dallas this weekend.
What a snake! Ripper fits him perfectly! Congratulations! You sure have a winner right there! @reneesreptiles
Great color and pattern on ripper!
Aw man he is a beaut of an animal! Congratulations @reneesreptiles Halley! “Ripper” appears to be an appropriate name for this guy! He looks like he is ready to rumble!
Oh, he was! It’s funny because I can hold him and carry him around without any issues, but as soon as I put him down It’s on like Donkey Kong!
I know, right? He was in one of the first booths I saw at the expo and I just knew I had to pick him up while I had the chance. I’m definitely happy with him and I can’t wait to see how his colors develop as he gets bigger!
Thank you! I debated naming him Jack for Jack the Ripper, but I felt like just naming him Ripper sounded cooler.
Thank you, and awesome! I hope you have a good time, I know I do when I go to the ones in my state, but I can’t go very often because I always want to spend all my money!
Ripper is gorgeous! Bloods are my favourite, love his colours. I’ll be really interested to see how he matures.
My brand new little noodle made it okay!!! She took a very VERY long trip from Florida to Vancouver.
Meet Chester, the extreme gene albino African House Snake, boaedon capensis, from House Snake Morphs & More.
She is so tiny. I’m kind of in awe. “Noodle” is accurate: I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten udon thicker than her. She’s chilling in her quarantine enclosure and it’s taking all my self control not to peek in there and bother her while she settles in. She’s my first AHS and I really hope I can help her thrive.
Well she is adorable and I bet she’s happy to be at home now after that long flight!
I do hope so! I expect at the moment she’s going “what the heck is this place I’m in??” I’m going to go on the hunt for even smaller hides than the ones I got for her, because wow, little tiny girl.
So many folks with so many cool new additions! I love seeing all the new pickups. It makes my heart happy.
Yeah, it’s cool to see everything everyone else is getting. I’m living vicariously through all of you guys
I am so happy to say that after what seemed like a bajillion years, we were finally able to bring home a new snake. And he’s a colubrid!
Introducing our first Western Hognose, Astro! He’s an Albino Superconda 66% het Axanthic
He’s an Albino Superconda 66% het Axanthic, and we picked him up at the Four State Reptile Expo today. I didn’t have much hope of finding one of the specific morphs I wanted, considering this show is very small. In fact, the breeder we got him from was the ONLY person that had hognoses lol.
We feel very blessed to have this silly little dude as part of our family now. He’s now in his enclosure I had set up last week, just in case we got lucky today. He’s in his quarantine and hands off period now, and I’ll share more photos in the colubrid category forum once his hands off period ends. Yay! We love his spicy little self!
I just got a whiteout amel fat-tailed gecko from 13reptiles on MM. She’s got a slight underbite but she’s adorable. I named her Zuriel.
Congratulations on your beautiful new boy! I know you are thrilled to have found what you wanted. Glad it worked out that way for you!
Welcome to the community, @mulderbees ! It’s a great place to share the love, the joy, the occasional frustration too. Your gecko is a cutie. I love the expressions on her little face.
