I have two albino females. One of them I can feel a string of follicles about marble size or bigger. And the other a little bit as well. When do I introduce male? I can’t find info on how that works. Does the male always try to lock? Or is the female that triggers him? Please help
If your female is starting to develop follicles now is a good time to introduce your male, it only has to be done once a month, and I would recommend to use the weather at your advantage (low pressure, storm, rain etc)
The male may lock within minutes to hours or it may not, some male you will never catch in the act, there is not need to over around checking all the time as it can disturb them, just let them be.
24 hours after paring check on them and observe their position and leave them together for another 24 hours.
