So. Im running outta Reptile room. I Decided to take out the Cabinets above my Washer & Dryer & turn it into Gecko Central. .lol. Need to mount the light still & a few more things to clean up…but Im soo excited about it!!
Its a Marble gecko & a Crocodile gecko…
Oh btw…new gecko!! Happy Vday to myself!! Lol
Looks like a good use of cabinet space. Nice valentine there. And hey, geckos are clearly more useful than dryer sheets.
That was my thoughts!! Lol
I was going to put three T8s in my closet…so I don’t find it weird
Just finished…well I may tinker still but…finished!!
Very nice! I’m currently in the process of rearranging my bedroom to better accommodate my snakes and spiders (and hopefully make some room for future additions). The struggle is real! I think your solution is very creative and looks great. Super cute enclosures too!
Thanks Im really happy with the turnout!! & yeah…the more you get…the better you get @ tank Tetris!! Lol lol
I got the background for the inside of the cabinets @ the Dollar tree…it took 12 sheets…& I hung the light with zip ties actually…so I can adjust it seasoningly… as needed. & used an old office paper holder to raise the one cage the same height as the other & used Dollar Tree vines though out the outside for looks.
Of course…I also ripped off the doors…& took out the shelves. I used screw in hooks to secure the light & the light cord down the back inside. Have about 16$ put into it. Not counting the light…cages…cage decor…& geckos…lol lol
I also got both those cages for free…lol. …its great to know people!!
I run a small rescue…
To be specific…when I say “I” run a small rescue…its with 5 others…all outta of our homes. One of us works for the local human society…one of us has a zoology degree & runs a pet store…the others are hobbiest. & I have 35yrs of experience with reptiles & do educational programs.
When Im not a being stage manager …lol
Perks of being a stage manager…one of my rescue ball pythons was in a small production & is local famous…lol. I have creds as a animal handler on set…
