My African house snake has recently developed a sort of wrinkly, almost crinkly appearance when curled. I’m pretty sure this is not normal wrinkling or due to fat or dehydration. He is also shedding and it’s a bad one, but I don’t think that’s it either. What else could it be?
He needs more humidity when shedding. It may also be dehydration to some extent. I also can’t tell from the pictures if he is underweight, but loose skin outside of shedding can be caused by that as well.

I have a humid hide and water bowl in his cage but I might need to raise the over all humidity. I’m pretty sure he’s a good weight but I can weigh him to double check.
