I’m a biologist by profession and a herpetology enthusiast by addiction. I’ve been keeping reptiles off and on for 30 years and it never gets old. I’ve successfully kept most of the commonly available species of non-venomous reptiles (as agreed with my lovely wife of more than 20 years) and many amphibians as well. I’ve also been fortunate to breed many different species of colubrids and boids. My main focused right now is boas, principally Brazilian Rainbow Boas, but I also keep a modest collection of other species. I’m a staunch advocate of education and frequently incorporate my animals in educational outreach.
