It all started with a green anole I caught after Hurricane Hugo in 1989. First purchased herp was a tokay gecko in 1992; he passed in 2002. He fathered my first CB tokay in March of 1998, which he unfortunately passed in winter of 2019.
The collection varies from beginner species like corn snakes and leopard geckos to more advanced species such as Phelsuma. My primary breeding focus is with corn snakes currently, but many old friends have talked me back to my gecko keeping roots.
I received a BS in Biology from NMSU in 2006, with much of my focus pertaining to herping NM for the 19 years I lived there. Met my wife while at NMSU and she shares the love for the reptiles I/we keep. Our love for the herps began our adventure into CKC Squamates.
