Hi! I recently adopted a ‘black milk snake’ from a local rescue. They were told he is about 11-12 years old. However, he is not totally black. He is about 4-5 feet long. He does have some black washing over some of his colored parts, but otherwise - to me, he looks like a Pueblan. Can anyone help me figure out what I actually have? TIA. Pictures below

Not a black milk snake at all. Just a Pueblan milksnake. Whoever said it is a black milk needs to learn what the color black is lol.

This specific animal is most certainly a Pueblan, as everyone has noted, but I do wish to call attention to the fact that not every black milk attains a perfectly black appearance and I have seen a few that visually display a fair amount of the typical tri-banding appearance (though with a dark wash) over up to a third of their body.
