Hello everyone. I purchased an Ackie hachling in early July. I purchased what I thought would be a good-sized enclosure for what I thought would be a while. She is in a 36x18x12 at the moment. However, I can see it’s not going to last as long as I thought. She is growing faster than I expected. Building a custom encosher is not much of an option. I’m not that tipe of person, nor do I have the tools to do it. I have been looking at new PVC enclosures, and I can’t find one that has the depth at the bottom for substrate. Can someone point me in the right direction?

The larger (5’+) enclosures from Animal Plastics have a decent-sized lip for containing substrate. Maybe 3-4". If you need deeper than that, you can always just put a higher piece of PVC or another solid material to keep substrate from falling out the doors. I think they even sell some pre-made for that purpose, but I can’t remember what they’re called. Litter dams, I think?
