First and foremost: I do have a vet here locally, and will be scheduling an appointment ASAP. That said, since I don’t use social media, I figured asking here might be worthwhile.
Just adopted this two year old female pacman frog. She’s 270g. I’m not seeing a lot of viable growth charts, but I suspect she’s a little overweight.
Thoughts?
I would have taken more photos, but I wanted to get her weighed and back into the enclosure ASAP.
Oh my gosh she is one hefty lady! Unfortunately I have not had good luck with frogs or toads so I can’t imagine being able to grow one of that size! I am glad you are taking her to the vet! Hopefully you will be given a feeding guide of sorts to reduce her round like figure! I would say she needs to lose a few grams!
I think I agree? However, it’s been two weeks, and she still hasn’t eaten at all. If I quasi-forcefeed her a dubia, she’ll take a bite, and spit it out. She’s…stubborn, to say the least.
