Here is how the tree hide was made. I used a combination of products, followed with clay and carved that to hold up to both humidity and use.

That setup looks really awesome! Love the idea of using clay over foam(?) I’m assuming that its just air dry clay?

Did you use any coating over the clay to prevent it from cracking in the future and for easier cleanup? Thats the only concern I’d have with it.

I used an epoxy clay. Then painted over with acrylics and sealed.
