Age of jungle carpet python?

Hello all! A bit over a month ago I adopted my first carpet python. She’s a female, jungle, super friendly and eats like a champ, weighs in at 241 grams, and measures at exactly 4 feet long. She’s very healthy and such, thing is like an idiot I forgot to ask for her age when I adopted her (I know, stupid). Does anyone more knowledgeable on carpet python growth rates/ages know how old she may be? I know there’s a lot of variability with snakes, but the general knowledge of a range would be great! Thanks heaps

I have never owned a carpet python but I would say that your girl has to be at least a juvenile if she’s 4ft in length. It’s safe to say she’s not an adult. She’s very pretty and you’re lucky she is friendly!

She’s a sweetheart! I feel very lucky to have gotten such a lovely girl. And yeah she’s got a lot of growing to do- my best estimate is that she’s around 1.5-2 years old but I’m not well versed on the little details like that of carpets as she’s my first one. Thanks heaps!

I have a Woma Python male that I purchased as a baby. He’s a tad jumpy getting him out of his tank but after that he’s very sweet, like yours. He’s around the same age as your carpet.

Congratulations on your adoption btw!

A 4’ carpet is a fairly mature animal, but based on the head structure I would not call this one a full on adult. I would put the age are about 3 years or so but that is a super rough estimate

Also, based on colour and patterning I am inclined to say your animal may not be a pure jungle. Can you shoot me a DM of who he seller was?

I would estimate her at 2 yrs old based on my experience with Jungles.
