All my babies

Well last week I saw a post on Facebook a lady was giving away a free Bp I saw how bad she was caring for them so me and my fiance went today and got the other 3 from them. Ik two of them have improper bedding my albino baby has mites and we are treating her and my other little guy has the most severe burns I’ve ever seen so we are babying him back to health before I have him laying around in husk again

Good luck with the poor things, especially the injured one.

Goodness, the poor things! I’m glad they’re out of that situation.

If you’re seeing mites on one and they all came from the same place with terrible husbandry, assume that they all are likely to have mites.

If you post a picture of the one with burns, you’ll get some good advice on how to care for it. You’ve done the right thing in getting it onto a non-particulate substrate. I don’t know how you’re treating the wound, but after cleaning it gently with something like diluted betadine, antibiotic ointments, or silver sulfadiazine, or even A&D ointment are safe and can help keep the area moisture so that it heals more easily. Use only the kind WITHOUT with pain relief/analgesics added, as these are toxic to herps. If the burn is extreme, it needs to be seen by a vet as it likely needs antibiotics.

Wishing you luck, and thank you for taking in animals who need help.

In addition to the ones that Caryl mentioned above, you can also use vitamin E oil. My vet recommended this. You can use the capsules opened at the top with a pin prick, or you can find it in a small bottle at a drug store and maybe even wal mart

But any of the suggestions would work!
