Anyone know when MM will start offering RGI’s new “All Recessives” panel?
I’m holding out for MM rather than ordering from RGI website now because I like having a database of results on MM vs RGI quick and dirty e-mail only results. Especially if MM eventually makes results searchable or better yet linked from each animal’s profile.
From a business standpoint, it should be soon. Wouldn’t make sense to wait on it.
I know MM has pushed out tests on the site quickly before… But I don’t know how much warning they had before the release compared to this one

I’d keep waiting for MM to add the newish “All Recessives” test (as opposed to ordering now on RGI website) if there was any encouraging news MM is considered also adding some more distinguishing genetics testing features in addition to the big existing one of storing results in a user accessible database. The features I would most like:
To be able to search test results by animal ID (right now they are listed chronologically by order so you just have to look inside all orders about when you remember testing a particular animal).
Linking all of an animal’s results from the animals profile for the account holder.
Some form of optional public version of that animal to test results link.

Hey Guys, This is Shawn over at RGI. MorphMarket and CLTCH both have to program these features in. Whenever we create something new, like a new Panel, they have to pay a programmer to dial it in. In trying to add the new Recessive Panel, MM actually seems to have minorly broken my data entry system. It still works, but it’s way more time consuming now due to the layout. They are on getting it added, but they need to fix what was broken first. Please try to remember that MM takes ZERO money from RGI, and offers this software for all of us, for free. So when we ask for a change, sometimes it’s takes them a bit to get it added depending on what other priorities they have happening over there at the time. I spoke with Brittni the other day, and they are working on it! Adding a panel is alot different than just adding a new gene, because it has to be built from scratch, and integrate all of the genes into a singe reportable test…this takes them time.

Does anyone know if CLTCH added the all recessives test or have an update on MM progress to add it?
About to give up on MM and just do the RGI website.
I finally broke down and ordered the recessive panel on the RGI website. I think I messed up and used a different e-mail address on the order and payment pages so didn’t get the order number where I expected. Probably still in postal service but worried my sheds might not get matched with my order due to my e-mail mistake.
Just email them and explain the issue?
And also check what email is linked to your payment in case it auto filled and sent there. They should be able to check how it was paid for and match the numbers. At least I assume… But you won’t know until you contact them.
Already talked to Shawn last week. He thinks it will be fine. I just like to worry. Just mad I messed it up and a warning to others to be careful if asked a second time for e-mail address to use the same one.
Anyone hear anything new about the all recessive test or when it might be added to MM? I got my results for the one I finally ordered on the RGI website and it seemed to be results for the big panel including a number of not recessive and not including at least monsoon and maybe some other newer recessive I care less about. Was wondering if that was a one off with that run or even my order. Thinking I might try the RGI site again though as at this point guess MM isn’t going to add all recessive test for some reason.
I haven’t heard anything about it.
I’m still hoping on the scrambler test to get released soon as that may be floating in my collection (・_・;)

Seems longer but I guess it has only been 3-4 months since the all recessives panel was announced. Anyone know if CLTCH has it? I really can’t wait longer on breeding season pairings and ended up sending way too many e-mails using the RGI website order because I couldn’t see if received or processing etc. also no list of what’s in the all recessive panel.
Contact RGI and double check which panel you ordered. I’m sure if you ordered the recessive panel and they ran the wrong one, they can probably help you with that.
Make an account and check, you’ll need one anyways to order the testing.
So use their email address or contact form to ask the questions you need answers to. As for what’s in the all recessives panel, it’s all their recessive mutation tests available. All available tests are listed on their website. If you’re not sure which are recessive, compare them to the MM trait list.
I sent WAY too many e-mails already. I had mentioned that the results appeared to be the “full panel” and not what I expected to be in the “R-PNL” shown as requested but that wasn’t addressed in the reply. Curious if anyone else has all recessive panel results yet and if monsoon was included.
I already did one free trial of CLTCH last time they had a test with delayed availability on MM (can’t remember if it was clown or hypo or an early DG variant). But I would probably be willing to pay for a month or two if I knew it would get me traceable all recessive panel results.
