Here’s a good starter! I think Leo looks so pretty in this one! 
He has gotten so dark, and is so fun to hang out with. We were at a Wendy’s, lol. His dad wanted some food on our walk, so we went and waited outside for him. This one is right outside of a loud, rumbly, busy street. I am so impressed with how well desensitized he is to the outside now because he got real cozy and chilled out like there wasn’t anything else going on in the world around him despite the big loud cars rumbling not that far away and the people walking around him. We’ve been doing this for a number of years, so he’s probably super used to it by now, but it still makes me so happy to see his progress. He’s such a good boy!
This is our Humane Society Rescue named Zain. He’s a Yorkie Poo and hates fireworks and storms. He also never wants to be alone. Who does actually? Anyhoo he’s facing cataract surgery in his right eye soon.
And here’s Rudy, Zain’s brother. He’s a Shitzu Yorkie mix. He was my grandson’s dog until he got too busy with sports etc. Now grandma has him. Last Christmas Rudy literally tuned blind overnight from something called S.A.R.D.S. Sudden Acute Retina Dysfunction Syndrome. However Rudy is still leading his best life with us. I could not help posting the both of them together!
My husband’s Beardie Mirage really likes my shoes for some reason, I have no explanation for it. It’s just her preferred spot to sit when free roaming.

I have so many photos of him but these are my favorite from the past.
Ok so if you EVER need to rehome Erros, look no further than me! He is absolutely a HOOT! 
I love him so much, he’s such a silly and good boy 
I think we are inseparable though, I’ve had him since he was just 2 weeks old. His birthday is on Valentines day 
He did have a few month long stretch of Parvo Virus as a puppy and he’s had food sensitivities ever since then 
so he has to get a special diet, I think he’s doing good though considering! No relapses! Ended up having to do a ton of sanitization and QT for him for a whiiiile afterwards, I believe Parvo can survive for a few years on surfaces so we always fear if we never got it all and that it will show up again. The best thing for Parvo dogs is subdermal fluids 2x a day and nutrient paste swabbed under the lips, that’s what saved Erros when he couldn’t keep water down and refused to eat.

I love that for your beardie. That is so unique! My boa eros is my biggest personality. He loves water. As in, he is a connoisseur. It must be fresh, he likes an ice cube. (He’ll tink it around with his nose). And he’ll drink for 20 minutes straight if it’s really hitting the spot. He loved the water from the fridge dispenser in my old rental best. He also weirdly loves my comforter. I’ll open his door so he can freeroam and hell bee-line for it, like, locked in. And then he will do some weird snakey magic somehow and when i go to check in on him later, he’s burritoed himself. Like, seriously burritoed. Head visible only. I don’t know how he does it.
Yes Parvovirus is nasty and sometimes deadly and can be totally avoided by a few rounds of it simple vaccine. I remember so well having to clean the kennels of sick dogs infected with this awful virus. The smell is something one doesn’t forget. I’m glad Erros survived for you to tell about it!

We def needed a little light-hearted fun.
These two are Sonic (black) and Demyx (orange). I joke that they share a brain cell and are brothers from another mother since they are so much alike in personality. They thrive on being a collective menace to society.
Sonic’s favorite past time is rage baiting the dogs, as seen below.

Demyx likes to make my job harder by sitting awkwardly in front of my computer.
Mochi is Sonic’s actual brother.
I got them at just a couple weeks old from a lady a couple hours away who found them under her porch. Their mom unfortunately had been HBC in front of her house 
Mochi was a sickly thing, super skinny, bloated, fever coat and URI, which is probably how he ended up with asthma. But thankfully he pulled through it all and is now my baby boy.
Luna is the newest member, thanks to my bleeding heart. She was my brother-in-law’s but he went off to boot camp a couple months back and his parents stated that they did not wish to care for her after he left. My husband and I just so happened to be coming up for a visit when this all transpired so they asked if we’d be willing to take her. And how could you say no to that face?
Ventus is my first rough collie. When they say pets take after their owners usually that means looks, but instead he took after my anxiety 
It has been a very interesting journey because he is much more sensitive than any other dog I’ve had. And smart, but like conniving smart not trick smart 
he has taught me so much though about myself as a pet owner and parts of me that can do better.
And last but certainly not least is Axel, the first dog my husband and I got together. I love him to death but he’s mostly a doofus 
Erin I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about your menagerie! Such thoughtful touching stories about each one of them and of course the pics are priceless! . I don’t even see how you can possibly breed your hoggies as well! You must be running around constantly!
But yes we can and do learn so much from them. We are certainly blessed!
The crazy thing is that he had his first rounds of vaccines before getting it 
I have a sneaking suspicion though that it came from the adoption/rescue agency we were working with for his siblings (we had gotten him with his 5 other siblings because his momma had passed away), he was not the first to test positive but did very quickly after his other siblings started showing symptoms… thankfully they all survived. The adoption agency actually is who provided us with fluid bags for them to get subdermal fluids.

Aaaaaaand while I have a bunch more, Pancake will be the last I show off, who is the very first baby I ever produced and is one of my sweetest snakes. She does all of my educational programs with me and I can hand her off to a 4yr old with not a single concern.
