I was just recently given this girl, and was told she was a Motley Jungle Boa, but didn’t get any more info than that. Would just like some specifics as to what exactly she is, is she a red-tail morph, common boa, that kind of thing? Little clueless when it comes to boas Love her to bits already! Can send more photos if needed
Can you post some full body pictures of her top and side? Then I can give you my opinion on being jungle. She seems to be a Central American Motley to me, not Colombian Motley. Is there any way you can find out what her parents were?
Thank you for the response! I tried getting some more pictures, she did NOT want to hold still. Has some very faint patterns but I liked the blank look.
I can try find out what her parents were, will update when I find out. I’m not concerned about breeding or having some super rare morph, just curious!
Yours reminds me of this boa, which has the same overall base color. So she could be a Colombian motley leopard boa.
The leopard morph messes with the pattern, too, so she might not have jungle in her. Only the breeder who produced her can tell you.
So, I will change my opinion about her being a Central American motley to being a Colombian hypo motley leopard and a possible jungle. As my motley jungles have similar patterns. I don’t breed leopard boa, so I am not an expert on them.
Here is my BCCXBCI motley jungle het Kahl albino.
