Here’s our first two for starting off.

I’ll be repeating our LavAlbino to hetLav pairing as soon as he’s out of shed. They gave us a great clutch (8) of the nicest and calmest babies last year, hoping for a repeat!

I have so many unfortunately I have to wait until I’m done moving cross country to start pairing again.

What a terrible problem to have!:sweat_smile:
Good luck with the move! I imagine moving a big collection is a pain.

Yeah. It’s gonna be awesome to see what comes out. I’m almost certain there’s a worlds first in there as well.

It’ll be interesting, I find just het ghost tends to lighten and brighten so with the other light genes on there, wow they’re gonna be pale and bright…:sunglasses:

Yeah… 170 snakes and 250 rats. Definitely not my favorite part currently. I’m still not convinced they will all fit. :cry:I plan on bagging up all the juvenile-adults and putting them in totes to stack in my truck cab, but I was just going to put the hatchling tubs in boxes… I’m afraid I won’t have the room for that though. I think I’m gonna do a test run this week with the boxes and totes to see how I can make them fit.

This is why I haven’t moved lol. Moving my collection honestly terrifies me. After this upcoming year I’m doin it though lol.

I just started pairing a few of my snakes. Here’s a picture of one of my pairings for this upcoming “season”

And I totally forgot about moving my rodent colony that’s definitely it fun either lol

I am definitely feeling uncomfortable, but no way around it now.

Totally understandable! I would be curious to see how your collection reacts to being moved and whether your females are reluctant to breed this season. I truly hope it all goes smoothly for you!

@saleengrinch it wasn’t my idea sadly that was her name when I got her and I liked the reference so I kept it. lol

Also have a acid enchi orange dream yellowbelly X pastel black pastel I’m excited about but he doesn’t want to seem to lock up. Any tips?

Honestly patience it’s very early in the “season” to be overly concerned. Give them a couple week break and try again.

@steelserpents @saleengrinch Last time I moved residences, I used an enclosed car trailer, bagged my snakes and put them back in the racks. It was a 3.5 hour ride for them. I had a great season afterwards lol. In 2020 I moved the breeders to my warehouse during fire season and then brought them home a few months ago and have had no issues. I have a box truck with a lift gate so this time I didn’t even bag them, just pulled the waters and moved the racks.
