So I’ve wondered about this for awhile, are twins more likely to be produced if the mother or father was a twin? Because in humans there is a slightly higher chance of a woman giving birth to twins if she herself was a twin or had siblings that were. Was just something I thought would be a interesting thought

I believe @warren_booth has been doing research on those and might be able to answer.

Nick Mutton has been compiling data for years, I think he is something like 4 generations deep now, and his results certainly seem to indicate that there is a genetic component that is heritable
