What is a good weight and weight gain per week? My Lavander albino male is 170 grams enchi cinnamon spotnose female 160 grams and Pastel is 190 grams and is between 4-6 months I feed every 5 days F/T rat pups
Weight gain and weight are significantly less important than body condition. I’ve never tracked weight week to week - I weight my animals once every two months or so just to have a baseline. It sounds like all of yours are within reasonable weight expectations (those hatchlings could be anywhere between 120 and 250 depending on how often/how much they’re being fed) but the most important thing is body condition. You want them to be lean animals, but not skinny where you can see their ribs or feel their spine vertebrae. For that age, feeding every 5-7 days a meal that is about the same size around as the thickest part of the snake in question is a good schedule to follow.
So so lovely @sarap !

There is a strange obsession this hobby has with animal weight. In absolute honesty, it does not matter. Your animal’s body condition is the absolute best indicator of health. Think of it this way - a female that is 2000g because she is an absolute watermelon that can barely move is not healthy compared to a female that is 2000g well-muscled and active
From your pic, your animal has excellent body condition. Just keep striving for that and they will be happy and healthy ![]()
