Are these head scales normal? They look different then my other ball pythons head scales.
Looks normal for me. What about them is different from your others?
Sometimes color can make them look a bit different as well, maybe that’s it?
I think what he is looking at is all the small dents in the scales. I think it’s from too low of humidity but I’m not sure.
So the scales in this area look pronounced or jagged or raised compared to others being smooth and flat and not really stand out to me in the others.
The rest of her body scales are also more pronounced to me. Almost like looking at a beaded lizard. Ive tried to take pictures of her and light just makes her look washed out or something.
Ive had this girl for a while and i noticed the body scales first because I had a hard time getting a good picture of her because of this. I never really paid any attention to the head scales until yesterday and they just stood out to me.
I know the body scales on my scaleless head I have are more beaded then normal scales and makes him have a different look color wise. This and seeing the head gave me the idea to check the vent scale which is split just like my scaleless head. But the head doesnt look like a scaleless head the scales just look different so I just wanted others opinions on those for comparison.
