Some pics of Ritz and Dash. They are super sweet babies, too.

They look great in real photographs!

Super yay for baby boy Smidgen! Those anoles are paying off right?:clap::clap:. His fat belly is the biggest part of him! :joy:

Edit to add: Cheddar Bay Biscuit plays hard to get but I know he’s hungry. He gobbled a pink today as usual. Last week he was in shed but he ate anyway! Little spoiled brat! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love hatchlings and juvies that eat in blue. It’s so hard getting them off pinks that it’s nice when they don’t fast every month.

Some full Bantams and hets.

Tried to get some pictures of this girl beside an unrelated, non-bantam girl that’s about the same weight, but neither were having it! Plus Triscuit was in blue.

Pretty good pic anyway! Interesting—saddle count is about the same. Saddle shape is not!

Glad some of The Resistance are switching over. I always celebrate that big time!

Me too, but the Dark Forces are still not few!

Pair of adult Bantams. SK Crunchberry and Honey Castillo. They produced a clutch this season.

their patterns and colors all remind me of vintage ceramic kitchen/bathroom tiles for some reason… which I absolutely love. Also, is it just me, or do bantams seem to have slightly cuter eyes for some reason? I’m not sure what it is but I’ve compared so many pictures and for some reason they seem to have a slightly more adorable ‘head empty’ look to them

I think only the most extreme expression one I’ve hatched has any effect on the head, and for him it just looks a little blocky. I don’t THINK the eyes are different. I’m guessing that their overall cuteness might lend their eyes a little more cuteness too.

Oh my goodness! I got busy and behind! Love all these photos and chunky monkeys. Wish I could hold one just to see what it felt like in comparison!

Congrats on Smidgen eating his first meal!

Thanks! Yeah, there’s a whole different feel to them that pics can’t convey. And it’s not just the skin texture. They feel over-stuffed or something. Hard to explain. There was a sort of crude and sexist phrase in some old songs that might do it: “So round, so firm, so fully-packed.”

:joy:. That’s a golden oldie for sure Dean!

Yeah, she’s cool. I probably would’ve kept her if a good customer hadn’t claimed her first.
