Here are a couple more. The runty twin and an even runtier 3g brother. Shatters het Bantam Caramel Lava. Second meals for both. In my experience, runts with good appetites catch up to everyone else pretty quickly with a little special attention (slightly higher feeding frequency).

They look very satisfied. I’m like you, I expect that they’ll catch up soon. Being smaller doesn’t really hold them back on growth. The crucial thing is appetite rather than size.

Yep! I fed the 2.2g super-runt from last season today. Around 85g now at just under a year, which is exceptional growth for high expression Bantam. She chows.

I really do love the dark caramel cinder, too. Batman lives up to his name. He is much darker in person than in the photo.

Yeah, I don’t know if “Dark Factor” is real yet, but he’s definitely it. If it’s real, I don’t think it’s recessive. My guess is incom dom.

The photo above is pretty blown out with the light. This is actually as dark as Batman looks these days:
Aside from his saddles getting slightly more golden with each shed, he really looks almost as black as any corn I’ve seen. I love him SO much—especially his shorty snout. He’s so cute.

There’s only one other as dark as that one. One I sent friends to prove out “Dark Factor.” This pic was from months ago. With Black Diamond apparently going nowhere, DF might be useful.
