So, I know this is kind of a weird post, but I recently came up with the idea for this debate. Which snake species/genus do think has the best head shape, pattern, etc.? For me, my list has to be Morelia, Boa, Drymarchon. What are y’all’s favorites?
Boas, tree pythons, carpets and royals.
All lovely in their own way. Especially the Royals little heads 🥲
The boas have a lovely arrow head smooth head, tree pythons are beefy looking as are carpets!!
I can see why you picked yours too
I like the “bars” on Epicrates sp.
Boas have the king of heads without doubt.
Second would have to go to the Gabon viper but probably would end up going with Copperhead instead because I love their head color.
Third I would definitely say I love the look of carpet python heads because of the huge muscles they have.
Yup. One of the reasons why they’re my favorite snakes. If I had the space, the money and the time, I would own all the carpet python morphs, species, subspecies and localities. No bias towards carpet pythons😂
I would love to have a pure caramel coastal carpet python one day. They are incredible!
Bloods, hands down. Love their flat, coffin shaped noggins. Who knows what thoughts are being held in those brain jars.
Western hognose snakes also have an awesome head.
100% agree! I love my hoggie’s head shape!
