Oh, that’s such a shame!! I’m so sorry to hear that this happened. I live about an hour from Foley. I’ll keep an eye open, for sure. I am going to PM you about a local pet shop you might want to contact. They sometimes buy from the public. They’re great people and would appreciate a heads-up.

What state/geographic area did you send it so people can gage if it’s close enough to them to possibly come across. Also on a worse note they might not even want to try to sell it, it looks breeder size and babies won’t be traceable and will easily sell for more combined than just the 1 that can be ID. Unfortunately these things rarely end positively for the honest people.

I live in Alabama, but far away from Florence. This is heartbreaking… I have a few ideas, how to find a solution. Next time, at least send $1 through PayPal, or such. That will give you some protection, possibility to be compensated. Best wishes, for I’d be devastated to lose any of my pets. No clue how to send a DM on here…

Depending on how much you value the snake, may be worth hiring a PI. They’ll have footage of him, plus a signature. However that could cost double, what the snake is valued. I know its about more than money. Sentimental, all the time you spent… Sometimes it’s better to accept the loss, and move on. Learn from this!

Unfortunately I was scammed from a seller on this site and because they were from another state I was beat. I had all his info and the cops couldn’t do nothing because it was across the country. Even though it was a total of 3700. People suck. I’m so sorry.

Man. Some people need to have the decency to follow up on a deal. Something as simple as buying something! That really, really stinks.

In the perfect world where everyone does their job, the officers would still put up a warrant in case they came into the state, or pass the case to officers in the appropriate county, but i doubt that happens very often
