I see what you’re talking about in the pictures. I’ll see if it’s there in person. I do keep them on coco chunk style bedding but that almost looks like only part of a scale. Pretty interesting! I keep tripping on the eyes, I feel like the silver eyes or odd looking in person and it’s roughly half the litter. It’ll be interesting, hopefully I’ll do some anery stuff down the line but right now I’m focus on color, kahl and squaretail is my main goal/dream combo.
Here’s an example of eye color difference. This RC Kahl (poss jungle hard to tell since RC has really reduced the saddles in his line) that’s very high red. Has more of a pink/lavendar eyes on him.
Whereas this more coral looking holdback has straight up silver/grey eyes. That’s one difference I’m seeing in the litter. I’ll start looking for random spots too and see if it points one way or the other.
