@smite Amen! :pray:

Some competition arrived yesterday. :sunglasses:

I’ve been under the weather all week but was able to get over to FedEx to pick up some new additions. I’ll get better pics once I’m feeling better/they’ve settled/weather cooperates.

The first two are from Randy and Al at Boa Zone

1.0 VPI Aztec Jungle (Orangasm) het Anery (this little dude is crazy nice!)

0.1 Hypo Labyrinth (Pink Panther) het VPI (she’s in shed but you can still see insane color saturation on this girl)

*she’s got an attitude

Last one is a ‘23 male from Chaz at LowKey Boas. He was a hold back that he decided to move to make room for other projects. He’s a great match for the VPI het Anery 66% Leopard I recently acquired.

1.0 Hypo (Gamma Green) triple het VPI, Anery, Leopard

Those new kids are gorgeous! That VPI Aztec is definitely my favourite, I love his colours, pattern, and eyes. That labyrinth looks like a handful!! The last one almost looks more VPI than hypo. Is that what the “gamma green” hypo line does? Super pretty!

@jawramik The VPI Aztec Jungle is a little stunner. I can’t wait to see how he develops. He’s tiny right now.

The Hypo triple het has some crazy colors. Gamma green is a pastel line and I can definitely see a green hue on this guy. He has nice pinks on his head and down his sides, and the tail blotches are orange. Excited to see what he can produce with the ladies when they ready. It’s gonna be hard to not break QT and throw him in with Babs if Rocket doesn’t get it done here soon.

Bloods! Such a great morph. Well they are all awesome but something about those reds and the contrast between the tones really makes this genetic mutation amazing.

You have a nice collection of boas now, Eric. Love Rocket and the new VPI Aztec jungle. I’m looking forward to seeing what you produce from all your boas over the years to come.

Love they way these two female motleys are turning out. Even though I don’t really like the look of non sunglow motleys.

Love what the Northern Brazilian BCC mixed in with the motley is doing.

Motley jungle het albino.

Motley het albino.

Thanks Tom! Hopefully I can start producing some gorgeous babies here sooner rather than later. I’m not confident Rocket and Babs are gonna go for me this year. While disappointing, it’s not wholly unexpected. It was kind of a last minute decision to go for it this year so they weren’t really properly prepped/cycled. If they did produce this year it would have been more dumb luck than anything. I am going to leave him in a few more weeks since he has been courting her pretty hard since the end of January to see if maybe he can close it out with a buzzer beater.

I won’t be deterred though. I’ll just be better prepared heading into next fall and I have a back up male/competition for next season also. The new guy won’t produce quite as nice a variety as rocket and babs would but I should be able to get some nice VPI sunglows that are ph het Anery and Leopard. I’ve seen some pretty stunning het leopard vpi sunglows being produced.

Aang didn’t want to move out of his bowl when I cleaned his cage.

@tommccarthy His prized possession, a bowl of mulch! :joy:

I’ve started adding a damp bowl of cypress mulch to my boa tubs as well. Works well for keeping the humidity up w/o having to spray constantly and molding up the paper towels. Thanks for the tip!

*Nancy lurking in the corner

The little PP hypo labyrinth shed last night finally. Unfortunately our weather whiplash here in the Carolinas continues and it’s gonna be too chilly to get her outside for a couple pics. She seems to be settling down though. She’s no longer hissing at the site of me.

I did take advantage of the nice weather yesterday to get the other two out for a quick vid. I didn’t want to have them out for long since they are new arrivals. These are a couple screen grabs.

Eric love the look of these two.

Ink soon after a shed. I missed holding this guy that last few months. I really love what that harlequin gene did to the motley with this guy.

@smite I’m not a huge fan of motley but Ink is changing my mind! The pattern contrast is phenomenal.

That broken flower pot was a blessing in disguise, that set-up is the most gorgeous little photo booth I’ve seen yet!

@smite When I saw you’d posted new pics of Ink I said “ooooh yes!!” out loud to myself. I love how he looks. Here’s to hoping he and Blush managed to figure out how to pass some of those genes on! : )
