Had my male Arabesque hypo het albino out today as he just shed. He is a little shy but never aggressive with me. I even have rats thawing out in the sink right now, and he still will not try and bit. I have owned him for almost 2 years now. I still need to name him.
I am bad with naming my boas, sometimes it take me years to name them.
Perfect name….Kevin….
Herra the weird i dont know if shes jungle or labyrinth tho …na shes jungle … she looks sunglow in the sun… but then doesnt… orange yellow irridesence
Looking good Tom! That jungle mot sunglow is too cool. Jungle gene’s gotta be crazy strong in that one to battle out the motley like that. (If he’s is mot of course?)
Wow @tommccarthy I always love when you get the camera out. As I do with everyone else, lol. Sunglows are looking amazing. Weather is going to be great tomorrow and Grian is shedding as I type so I might take some pictures tomorrow of everyone. I started my new chemotherapy today so if I feel good then I’ll add to the photos on here
Your boas are looking amazing as usual my friend.
Wow wow wow i love this snake they are absolutely beautiful. The other one is too but this one sticks out to me a lot ![]()
@smite
Matt that female sunglow motley jungle is one of my favorite babies. I agree with you about the jungle gene in her. Has to be strong to cancel out most of the motley look. Not sure who I want to breed her with yet. Still have lots of time to figure that out. My high pink guy would be cool. But I don’t really want to breed siblings together. Your VPI male would make some killer 100% hets with her for Kahl and VPI. ![]()
@flrt-dennis
Dennis thanks for the compliment. Looking forward to seeing your pictures. Hope you feel good with your treatment. I am praying for you buddy. Keep fighting I know your going to get through this.
@baby_yoda
Baby_yoda that is my male VPI I got from Matt. He was my favorite male out of his babies he had this spring. I was so happy that Matt let me get him. Matt had a lot of killer looking babies this year.
Thought everyone would like to see this.
This boa was surrendered to my veterinarian buddy years ago from the original owner. Believe there was medical issues with owner and no one wanted the boa. So they wanted to make sure it would be taken care of properly.
The owner bought this boa as a baby in 1990 so that makes this boa 36 year’s old this spring.
Here’s a few updated pictures for everyone to enjoy. We have Grian(sunglow motley jungle) Karl(FLRT/Tudehope) Emmit(FLRT) and Rosalie(FLRT)
Dennis I am kinda biased as I like Grian the best.
I like Karl’s tail should be killer looking when he gets his adult colors. Love Emmit and Rosalie adult colors and widow peaks. Rosalie has better contrast than Emmit. But both have what I look for in Suriname BCC.
Love this picture as it shows off Grian’s colors.
Wow, that boa is almost as old as I am!
Thank you for the kind words @tommccarthy it truly means a lot. This is my favorite boa from Brians FLRT line, Chanel. Absolutely perfect in my opinion.
@flrt-dennis
Dennis Chanel is very nice, she has great base colors and fantastic widow peaks. I would be like a kid in a candy store at Brain’s. He whould have to check my pockets before I left. ![]()
They’re all looking incredible @flrt-dennis. I like Karl’s reverse stripe on the tail. Really hoping my girl colors up like Rosalie, she’s looking incredible.
Chanel is a jaw dropper, love that coloration and peaks to boot!
Hopefully that updates means you’re feeling good, brother. ![]()
I see why she’s your favourite! So clean, such beautiful colour!
That boa is older then I am. ![]()
Oh trust me Tom, Dennis had to check my pockets when i visited….i love FLRTs….gorgeous animals
Amy - Kubsch Squaretail 66% Kahl
H.B. high RCKahl with square tail saddles. Possible future pairing that’s still way out, but if I can’t find a visual squaretail I think this boy will do very well in making some solid looking hets, hopefully albino het squaretails.
Insanely hard to get a kahl to show color next to a non kahl but I tried to do them both some justice. The contrast and color is crazy in person.
