Boa Constrictors!

Just in time for the weather coming in tomorrow to the South East, here is a Fall Florida pumpkin covered in Snow(s) … and a beautiful Moonglow… :snake::sunglasses::two_hearts:

I plan to make some Moonglow/snows in the future. They are gorgeous! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thank you, @lumpy! This collection was 10 years in the making: our first Moonglow litter was in 2013 (after working on that one since 2008!).

We’re glad to be back and re-booting with this group! Hoping to see some beautiful :snake: babies from pairings from this unrelated crew in 2025 :two_hearts:.

Beautiful picture. In your opinion does the moonglow stay whiter with age or do they yellow like snows do? Either one is on my list, I loved my snow boas.

@desd thank you ! We love taking pictures of these noodles, and luckily they are very patient with our silliness.

Re: the Snows/Moonglows, Aaron and I just did some reminiscing (it has been a minute since we’ve had older ones of either), and we think the Snow was actually whiter than the Moonglow a few years in.

And agreed: these Snows are SUCH beautiful critters. I’m certain we’ll be posting lots of pics as they grow, and I’ll keep you posted on their coloring :+1:.

Thank you for the information. Looking forward to more pictures, we never can get enough of the those!

Agreed… and ditto! Keep those pics :camera_flash: comin’!

PS, as I think others have said, the ONLY drawback I’m finding to this forum is the ease of shopping : we (VMB) are now getting WAY more interested in expanding back into to the True Red Tails in the near future thanks in particular to some of your and @westridge 's posts…:+1: but I’ll leave that here and give Aaron (as our head of VMB Strategic Planning :sunglasses:) room here to expand on that later…

I think its pretty cool that someone can show a picture of a particular morph or locality of just about anything and you can immediately jump over to the marketplace and start looking for one.

Of course that is also dangerous as well. Like having to explain to the significant other why that certain morph is on the way to your local FedEx location!

Here are my BCC X BCI. I breed my Northern Brazilian BCC female Aphrodite to my sunglow motley jungle Aang. She produced these for me so they are 50% Northern Brazilian BCC. This year i am breeding her to my super sunglow Ty. Just love the way the hypos came out. So i am making a full litter of them this time.

This guy is hypo jungle het albino.

This girl is a hypo het albino.

Beautiful, T!
The Boa market has really expanded in such a good way.
As Susan said, @flrt-dennis 's beautiful Bcc and @westridge ‘s amazing Parson’s Guyana have us both obsessed with a pair or trio. I’m thinking a really nice wild type female Guyana and a male Parson’s.
It’s a little more long term goal though as we’d probably want to get them 10’ cages…and I’m still fixing my whole Jungle screwup.

Always good to have long term goals, lol. By that time I should have some nice FLRT suriname babies. Once my goal is established I plan on expanding my collection and snows, Argentine are first on the list.

@spottedbull :+1: the MM team really does have that research <–> purchase synergy on lock! To the benefit (or detriment - as you mention above?) to us all! Really top notch!

And yes, really dangerous - in the best ways .

Luckily, Aaron and I - after many years of checking out other non-reptile related hobbies and interests - have both landed here with boas in terms of our “collection obsession”.

And also luckily, our FedEx Hub team is AMAZING and we get along great with them - which is awesome considering how much we’ve been seeing them lately! :upside_down_face:

Interestingly enough, in all seriousness, we have found out through chatting with them that there are quite a few reptiles flowing through that Hub! Bodes well for the herp industry and for the herp hobby as a whole!

I gotta admit, tho, I’m ready to hunker down for the winter (such as the Winter shows itself in Fla, right @lumpy? and @flrt-dennis?:sunny::ocean::palm_tree:) and hope to see our FedEx friends more next Summer/Early Fall as we are shipping babies :snake: out rather than taking :snake:s in!
