I have 2male ball python’s one is unknown age but he’s a massive boy and my other is I was told 2 years old in September I don’t currently know weight but can someone maybe tell me feeding schedule wise I’m being told so many things right now it’s once a week ones a medium rat other is a small my big boy is looking amazing now and healthy! If I need to slow down how do I transition them? Also we have a 4 month old female she’s on once a week as well I’ve seen that’s okay ? So many people tell you so many different things any sort of advice would be appreciated I just want what’s best for my boys I love them dearly here’s some pictures attached of the spoiled babies

The main thing is to monitor the body condition. If they start looking too chunky you’ll want to either cut back on the meal size or the timing. It almost becomes second nature when you’ve had them long enough.
I like to feed my big boy a good sized meal every 3 weeks. For him (2000g) a Medium size rat does him good. If I only have a Large rat available, I just wait 4 weeks before the next meal. He’s long and lean.
My smaller boys typically get 1 small rat every 14 days.
