Brumation, just keep offering food?

Keeping on eye on his tail fat. Do you keep offering food during brumation? Thanks

Idk if this is the same for FTGs but from what I understand of brumation in reptiles is that their metabolism essentially becomes nonexistent meaning they don’t digest food to convert into nutrients and they burn significantly less calories which prevents them from losing massive amounts of weight while they brumate

So if they ate food and then immediately went into brumation they could have undigested food sour in their stomach and make them incredibly ill. Again I don’t work with FTGs so idk if this is the same or not but I’d definitely take caution in it.

thanks! I took him out last night and he just seemed so sleepy so I put him back just wanted to check him over. It might be good because all my crickets are like not moving now because its so cold
