Can BPs sense each other?

I have two male BPs housed one above the other, on seperate shelves and in seperate enclsoures.

It seems like ever since I broujght my second BP home the other male is more active at night.

Should males be on opposite sides of the room or something?

I think most people put males in one rack and females in another. He probably can detect that there is another BP there. Flicking there tongue in and out is how they find each other.
If I remember correctly.

OK cool thx, I just didnt want to stress my snake out.
