been thinking about getting something besides ball pythons and was wondering about a certain breeder. Can I ask about breeders on here or is that not allowed.

The forums are strictly for discussing reptiles, not certain breeders. The best thing to do is check their store reviews and see if they have any other reviews on other sites.

Aside from looking on other websites and seeing if there’s reviews (make sure it’s the same breeder and not just the same name) then you could try inquiring on a facebook group.

Use your best judgement. If it’s an expensive animal and you’re getting a bad feeling from them don’t buy it. If it’s a low monetary value animal and you think they have a good intention and are trying to help then you would likely be okay.

I agree, maybe ask for advice on them and extra pictures, if they’re helpful then you should be okay. If they just seem to want to get the transaction over with and/or are asking for shady payment methods then you shouldn’t. As long as you don’t use Paypal Friends & Family then you should get protection in case anything goes wrong. Most sellers are okay and aren’t a problem, however it’s the very few that you have to be wary of. Here’s a link to the researching sellers on the marketplace: Researching Online Reptile Sellers

Is there a place you can see people talk good or bad about sellers? Other than their reviews. I’m no computer whiz so I have no clue, but is it possible for people to put fake reviews on their mm page? It’s a shame we have to worry about scammers and shitty people.

We recommend the Herpetoculture Feedback and inquiry group over on Facebook.
There are a few ways that people attempt to leave suspicious reviews but we usually catch it as soon as it is posted. We have several different human and automatic processes dedicated to spotting them though.
If a seller is found to be being dishonest and deliberately attempting to fake reviews we will remove them from MorphMarket .
