I was told he is a banana but that doesn’t seem right if any one could help with any ideas or thoughts on what he could be I would greatly appreciate it

Yeah, without knowing the parents, I think the guess by @flrt-dennis might be close.
One trick to IDing banana/coral glow in a snake like this is you can shine a mag light on the top of the head. If the eyes glow all red, you have a CG/banana. In the case of a blue eye lucy, the pupil only will shine red. If there’s CG/B again, the whole eye glows red.
