Can you incubate at 82F (28C)

Hey guys,so pretty much as the title says, I have a single incubator and my ball python decided to drop a clutch, honestly I wasnt prepared as I thought she reabsorbed (my first breeding + she’s been always chunky and another female bp of mine had reabsorbed before)
I have an incubator with a clutch of racers that have to be incubated at 28C/82F and they still have like 20 something days left (they should hatch early days of march)
Should I get a new incubator tomorrow monday or they’ll be fine incubating at those temps?

Edit: thank you guys for your answers! turns out since its summer here, the racers can be at room temperature (average 26-28C) so they’ll be outside the incubator right next to the warm side to avoid either cooling too much or cooking themselves and the bp eggs got to stay on the incubator at 31C, if the racers temps drop I might have to get another incubator but seems manageable

That a toughie.
I’ve heard that 84 is still okay. But the only time I heard of temps going lower it was in an incubator that averaged 81.5-86 over the course of the day.

It should be fine, but I don’t want to tell you to do it and then risk your clutch.

If you do try it though, keep in mind they will take a much longer time to hatch, so don’t expect pips before day 65.

@sadrine I do 30C after reading the discussion below. its worth a read.
I don’t know about 28 though for the whole time as above, but if 27 is ok for half the day and the average is 28.75 as in that discussion it sounds ok. But don’t take that as advice. Maybe someone has better experience and can advise on absolute minimum temperatures.
@armiyana I think this might be the discusion your thinking about

It is actually!
Most breeders as said in that thread just go with the ‘old ways’. Get you hatchlings at a fast rate.

I like to keep mine at 86 because otherwise my incubator may actually overheat if I’m not careful (good ol soCal spring/summer heat). I don’t want to risk my eggs creeping to close to 90 and possibly going over.
