Figured I should also show off this boy that showed up the same day as the bibroni babies
New addition to my growing collection of (and love for) Psammophiidae - Malpolon insignitus, Eastern Montpellier snake
These are a step up from the Rhamphiophis, much bigger, bulkier build. He is still settling in and quite grumpy about his travels and makes it knows with a LOT of hissing and growling. Hopefully he settles some during quarantine and will be more amenable when he gets in to his final built out cage

That’s neat. I’ve never seen those available. Similar venom delivery/composition to Ramphiophis?

Yeah, they are also rear-fanged, but given they are larger there is a (somewhat) increased risk since they can actually get a good bite in where as the Rhamphs have smaller mouths. Rhamphs are also a lot more reluctant to bite. not sure about Malpolon

Should be a lot of fun learning the behavioral intricacies. If I hadn’t taken over both of my available rooms I’d love to have a room to work with lesser know/established species. I like being married though and I’m smart enough to

I enjoy being married too and I managed to take over a second room. So it can can be done
