Care Advice — Nerodia taxispilota

Looking for care advice; setup, temp ranges, etc for Nerodia taxispilota (Brown Water Snake).

I’ve been looking to get a little male as I heard they stay a bit smaller but I’ve never kept a semi-aquatic or water species before.

I have experience with Acrantophis dumerili (Dumeril’s boas), Python regius (royal pythons), Antaresia childreni (Children’s pythons), Heterodon nasicus (plains/western hognose), as well as a few others.

I have never kept Nerodia but my understanding is that they are a gregarious species and actually do better when kept as a pair or group.
