Recently, I’ve been greatly considering getting a carpet chameleon. I’ve listened to the Chameleon Academy episode on them, I’ve read tons of care guides, I’ve watched Frank Payne videos about them, but I’d love to get some info directly from people who have experience with them. I have a few questions that I’d like answered as well.
- Which substrate would be best for them? Would it be worth it spending the extra money to buy a biodude substrate?
- Is a dripper required for water like other chameleon species?
- What are some tips for keeping the humidity high and the plants healthy while having a heat lamp on the enclosure?
- Can you keep a juvenile in the full 18 x 18 x 24 enclosure?
