we were able to rescue him! And he seems happy actually like he isn’t hiding and he seems very interested in me and what I’m doing lol you can see the mark on his little face and the tip of his tail and I’m hoping it’s just regrowth ….but we had to get him outta petco ….had to. We’ve got the Arcadia jungle dawn grow light so he keeps his beautiful coloration ….hims a tiny little gold dust day gecko but we’re gonna make sure he grows to be nice and strong 
he is just so sweet he hasn’t darted away from me either he’s just kinda darted down but been visible ….i think he may be curious about me and might wanna get to know me I did keep my word I told him I was coming back for him and I did I keep catching him watching me either peeking or full on head turned looking at me so I think that’s a good sign! I can’t wait to see his personality and to watch him grow!
