Hi all! Its been a long while since I have posted here, but I have a few questions about my cbb Cliffords Diadem snake, Niles.
Some history on him: He hatched in late 2021, and was picked up at a convention later that fall by his previous keeper. They could not get him to eat for a portion of time which I cannot remember, and thus sent back to his breeder. I came across him in April of 2022, where I would to today experience something similar. Hes a very finicky snake, only eating multiple small live meals such as pinkies or peach fuzzies and has completely refused anything larger. I would try to keep my hands off him as much as possible in an effort to not stress him out. Even then, may he refuse them. So, in my opinion, hes very small for his age and has had a rough history. I would like input from people who have kept this species for a long time to see how I can really get his appetite going. To include, thoughts on his size, whether he is too small or appropriate. Pics are attached below and thank you so much.

He’s lovely. I have never worked with this species, but hopefully someone experienced with them will come along soon. Best of luck!

I have kept a related subspecies antriceps. Should be very easy, with a rhp, hide on warm side, hide on cool side, and humid hide on cool side and a water bowl. Substrate can be dust-free aspen or newspaper.
