I am fairly certain that I know why at least this clutch was so crappy for me; the female went partho.
Male was a Whiplash and female was a virgin so that is the only reasonable explanation.

She should live, at least for a few years. Warren Booth’s personal anecdotes seem to indicate that after about five years or so they tend to suffer a decline
