Hey everyone, I had a clutch and am having trouble identifying babies. Here are my best guesses.
Sire - mystic pastel het red axanthic, originally purchased as Mojave het red axanthic. After an experienced eye and my results and speaking to breeder, I believe it’s mystic and not Mojave.
Dam - pastave
Babies:
Mystic potion pastel
Mojave pastel hra

Mystic potion
Super pastel hra

The downside is just how similar the two genes can look. A very nice looking Mystic like this can easily be mistaken as Mojave.
I would consider doing a shed test on the one single gene just to test for Mojave. If it comes back negative you know it’s mystic for sure. Otherwise if this was my noodle I would make a note on that one saying how I believe it to be Mojave but a possibility of Mystic. That way at least the next owner can be aware in case of a similar ‘opps’

I believe that it is mystic and not Mojave, and the female is Mojave as purchased. The main evidence is that I got mystic potions and not blue eyed Lucy. A shed test isn’t a bad idea tho, but I’m pretty confident the sire is a mystic per the breeder I got him from

I meant shed test the single BEL gene offspring.
I agree that the BELs are potions, not super mojo.
It can be a huge help in a situation like this.
For example … I hatched this girl and figured she was a super mojo enchi. Nope. She’s a crystal. Her half sister is a super mojo. Here’s photos of both.
